Situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Gravesend, to the south of the Thames Estuary the design references the Kent vernacular, traditionally characterised by informal courtyards, stables and stand-alone farm buildings. Valley Drive incorporates this typology while offering motifs of pitched roofs and gables.

The practice was founded in August 2020 due to a merger between The Green Street Clinic, The Enys Road Surgery and the Bolton Road Surgery in Eastbourne in order to operate from new, larger, more spacious surgery. A Sarnafil System with Single-Ply SE 1.5mm membrane in lead grey was proposed and fitted to cover the four areas of roof.

The chapel at Holy Cross Priory was built in 2013, however residents started to report water ingress issues within the chapel. It was found that the existing single ply system was failing and required a replacement. The roof was stripped and a new cut to fall insulation scheme was installed to improve thermal efficiency and improve drainage. A new single ply system was installed.

The original Asphalt roof of Archer House was failing and water ingress was being reported in the busy accountancy offices below. It was decided that the roof would benefit from a warm roof felt overlay.

The roof for our client’s new build forever home at Wood House had a newly installed GRP roof which failed. The decision was made to start afresh and remove the GRP roof and install a new Danosa HSF+ Single Ply warm roof system to give our clients the roof appearance and performance they were looking for.

The existing felt roof on the extension to this industrial unit had failed and the offices were experiencing disruption due to leaks, which had caused part of the office to close down.

After the central wing of this school building suffered extensive storm damage in early 2017 Invictus Roofing was asked to replace the roof covering at short notice.

Part of an ambitious re-development project in Ashford, La Scierie, a modern apartment building providing thirty new homes had a Sika Sarnafil system fitted, to achieve a 10-year product warranty.

This roof was part of a staged contract to replace all flat roof areas on this site. This project required extensive scaffolding to access the large roof area which needed to be erected during the school’s summer holiday. As some of the works would be taking place in term time, Health & Safety was paramount to protect the wellbeing of the staff and children during school hours.

This project was due to start during Summer Holidays, therefore the works could take place without imposing on the functioning of the school.

NFRC Nomination for Best Single Ply, Old Polegate Station lightweight DANOSA single-ply roofing system with an Alpha profile finish was proposed by Invictus Roofing to give the building a heritage zinc effect and strike a perfect balance between modern architecture and maintaining the town’s heritage values.‍

This balcony consisted of a failing asphalt roof which had a lot of potentials, therefore our client requested a durable system with a presentable atheistically pleasing finish, therefore a Westwood balcony system was recommended.
